Jeffrey J. Kramer, AIA
Mr. Kramer is the founding principal of Kramer Consulting. He brings over 39 years of experience to the firm which serves to refine his abilities to provide expertise with pre-construction services, program management, value engineering, building and lease evaluation, project budgets and schedules, contract negotiation, construction management, furniture acquisition, move coordination and post-occupancy resolutions. Having worked on both sides of the table, as an architect and as the Owner’s representative, Mr. Kramer brings a unique perspective and a broad range of construction-related experience to the team.
Mr. Kramer served as the Principal-in-charge for the redevelopment of Constitution Center (formerly the Nassif Building) involving the base building core and shell as well as tenant fit-outs for several Federal agencies. The 2M sf building’s repositioning modernized it to become a Class A office building, achieving a LEED Gold rating. His experience includes owner’s representation for commercial office projects, international law firms, Fortune 500 companies, Federal and municipal agencies, and learning institutions.
Mr. Kramer served as a panel member on the Chilled Beam Symposium at the National Building Museum. He has also spoken at the NeoCon East Convention in Baltimore and co-authored a paper on Constitution Center for which he and the building ownership worked closely together; researching, specifying, and overseeing the installation of emerging technologies. Additionally, he has authored a white paper on workplace planning trends.
Mr. Kramer currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Barrie, an independent School, Camp, and Montessori Institute located in Silver Spring, MD. He chairs the committee developing new campus facilities.
